Primary Two have begun learning about poetry and we started with a funny poem by Spike Milligan called 'On the Ning Nang Nong'. The children learnt about alliteration and spotted some rhyming words. After we created a class 'Sound poem' and revisited what the word 'onomatopoeia' means. Lastly,we wrote 'Colour poems' and recited them to the class. Mrs McMahon was soo impressed by everyone's clear voices and expression as well as the class' great imagination.
