This term's topic is 'World War Two' and Primary 7 have been discovering what happened during the 'Belfast Blitz' and thinking about how evacuees would have felt being evacuated to the countryside. In ICT, pupils decoded morse code to find hidden messages and packed a 'typical' evacuee suitcase. In Art, pupils used chalk to create a blitz cityscape including spotlights to search for enemy aircraft and some pupils revisited skills they'd learnt before to create a 'Blitz' image on Just2Easy's JiT programme.
