Primary 4 have been learning how to calculate 10 more and 10 less starting from 2 - and 3 - digit numbers considering changing the tens digit each time.
We used digit cards to create our own 2 digit and 3 digit numbers for our friends and then we walked around the room to complete our calculations. Everyone learnt that we mostly just need to change the tens digit but sometimes we need to change the hundreds digit also. Brilliant,active learning from the whole class.
